Millburn High School offers their own judge trainings to give parents many opportunities to become proficient in judging. It is mandatory that all parents attend a judge training before judging at a tournament.
Our judge trainings will be taking place over Zoom on the following dates:
Thursday, October 19, 7-8 pm
Thursday, October 26, 7-8 pm
Thursday, November 2, 7-8 pm
Monday, November 13, 7-8 pm
Thursday, December 14, 7-8 pm
Thursday, January 4, 7-8 pm
Thursday, February 1, 7-8 pm
Thursday, March 7, 7-8 pm
It is important for parents to understand that most events in this activity are designed to be understood by the layperson and challenge the student to adapt to his/her listener. A parent should attend judge training and then be equipped to judge at local tournaments!
